Heritage Programs For Schools and the Community
In keeping with its mission, the Alpharetta Historical Society provides Heritage Programs to schools and the community to help keep the past alive. This project provides programs for groups at the Mansell House and Gardens, the Log Cabin at Milton High School, local schools, and other sites in the community.

Log Cabin Museum At Milton High School
Located on the Milton High School campus, Society members in period dress conduct tours and present programs of farm life in the late 1800s.

Tool Time
This hands-on program, under the guidance of an experienced Society member, gives participants the opportunity to use tools of a past era in a historical setting.

How Does My Garden Grow?
In collaboration with the Alpharetta Garden Club, participants become involved in beginning and maintaining an old-fashioned herb and flower garden.

Tell Me A Tale
The past comes to life as many local Society members share their experiences of growing up in Alpharetta and old Milton County.
